Here is a project that I am very excited about and I have been working on for quite some time.
After attending a washi workshop a little while ago,
I was struck by the different textures of paper - how it can resemble fabric - and different
papers can appear like leather, suede, or even fine silk.
Those who know me, know that I am obsessed with all things miniature,
and have been making miniatures out of all sorts of materials
(for example: these little polymer clay magnets),
so it seemed a natural extension to start making miniatures out of paper.

Unfortunately this piece is really hard to photograph,
because a lot of the objects are white-on-white,
but I hope you can get a sense of the detail in these close-ups.

It' simply beautiful! And impressing… Greetings from Paris.
