I made this notebook as a birthday present for a friend.
It is filled with over 15 different types of paper - blank paper, lined paper, grid paper,
tracing paper, card stock, and sprinkled with pages from magazines and art gallery pamphlets.
I hand-cut and bound the pages together and made the cover out of cardboard and an old paper bag.
I am totally in love with the textures of all the different papers,
and I like the idea of using a notebook like this
where inspiration is allowed to flow from the paper itself.

  1. that's awesome! How did you make it?

  2. It is bound by sewing the pages together, which is something I learned how to do in high school. There are a lot of great tutorials on youtube if you want to learn how to do it yourself!

  3. This is so beautiful! I hope they liked their present. May do this as a gift for someone as well.
